Its a matter of shame that after the full fledge rise of radical Islamist terror which can strike anywhere and whenever it wants unopposed and encouraged. Now, Bharat is witnessing the rise of Christian terror. And the Govt. of Bharat under a spineless Prime Minister and dictator Antonia "Sonia" Maino has all its priorities set wrong. After repeated discrimination of Hindus in myriad of cases from destroying of world heritage Shri Ram Setu, to declaring Hindu gods as myths, to suppression of freedom of speech of people and freedom of press in Jammu, to giving into the communal demands of anti-Bharat radical Islamist separatists and Kashmiri muslims for secession and section of media openly committed acts of treason by extollingly supporting them, to suppression of rights and civil liberties of Hindus in Jammu Kashmir and around the country, to further alienation of 6 hundred thousand innocent Kashmiri Hindus, etc. Now this communal govt. has jumped its
guns again to please the Vatican instead of finding the murderers of a nationalist social worker like Vedanta Kesari Swami Laxmananda Saraswati. Looks like now the Church will run the State.

He was dedicated to the upliftment of the Tribals both on education and financial grounds. Such a great soul was so brutally murdered and is being ignored & insulted by the biased section of Bharatiya society and media living in their delusionary world of pseudo-secularist bash-the-Hindus doodles. What a pathetic state of affairs.

P.S.: For more details on his great work, following is an excerpt from an article about his life and contribution by Viswasambad Kendra, Orissa on August 30, 2008::-

Vedanta Kesari Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati (84) is known as second incarnation of Lord Parsuram. He took the vow to develop the downtrodden class of the society and made his center of activities at Chakapada in tribal dominated Orissa's Kandhmal district.

Besides social and religious development of the tribal people, he tried all most four decades to empower them economically and academically. He established a Gurukul pattern of school and a college to teach Sanskrit in Chakapada a remote place of Kandhamal.

Sankaracharya Kanyashram, a residential school at Jalespatta is another ashram of Swamiji in the district, where education is being imparted to women population with an intention to build their character and bring cultural nationalism among them.

His main missions are:

1. Making the tribal youth strong, fearless, educated and financially sound.
2. Tribal should be strong in their belief and check conversion of their brethrens and reconvert those who have gone out.
3. Protection of cows

These made him popular thought out the states. During two big functions at Chakapad in 1986 and 2007 lakhs of people gather in that remote place.

As the reconversion gets momentum Christians feared of loosing their ground. So they attacked Swamiji several times(9 times). The ninth attack on him was on 24th december 2007, where he was narrowly saved being murdered by heavily armed group of 200 people, at Darsingbadi of Kandhamal.

No efforts have been made by the government or administration to arrest the culprits (The Christian militants) and siege the illegal weapons kept by them. The roles of Christian NGO's were not investigated. The attitude of the government was to protect Christians and harass Hindus. Hundreds of Hindus were arrested but a few Christians. Lakhs of rupees were provided to the churched and other Christian organizations as relief, which were not damaged during that period. These things encourage the Christian militants and they brutally killed Swami Laxmananda Saraswati, Bhakti Mata. Amrutananda Baba, Kishore baba and Purub Ganthi a guardian of a Kanyashram girl on the Janmastami night on 23rd August 2008 at 8 pm. They even dare to enter to the kanyashram and brutally kill 5 persons.

The brutal killing of Swamiji, has sent a shock wave in the country. People of Orissa are still not in a position to accept Swamiji's killing. In a spontaneous response, people of Orissa observed bandh in each and every corner of the State on August 25. People of Kandhamal still not recover from the shocking demise of Swamiji.

this is not directly related to the above post but is interesting all the same.
Arjun Singh has done it again, although it is well camouflaged.
Pls read the article "Crescent and Cross replace Sun and Lotus in Kendriya Vidyalaya emblem" by R. Balashankar in RSS periodical Organiser (http://www.organiser.org/dynamic/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=253&page=2).
Kendriya Vidyalaya has a new emblem – an open book and two figures coming out of the globe. The old logo was the [Hindu] Lotus and shining Sun. see website: http://kvsangathan.nic.in/# (the logo takes a while to download)
The article states that this is pandering to the Muslims and Christians. I am not sure about the Christian bit, but an open book is a “typical” Muslim symbol. Go to any Muslim shop (at least in India) and a poster of a Muslim boy or a girl in front of the open Koran or just the open Koran is a must. However, I can't see how the two figures resemble a cross.
Unlike with the Rs. 2 coin, the ministry has been careful to retain an image of goddess Saraswati on the top left of the website but its not a part of the logo as such.
While the govt. press release states that the logo has been changed ““in order to give a broader reflection of national ethos and ought (sic) to be inclusive of challenges, opportunities, rationalistic, scientific and global thinking, advances in science & technology and social changes taking place in the society”, given the track record of this government's the intent has to be mischievous (or "secular"). The catch phrase: ““in order to give a broader reflection of national ethos.” We all know what the National Ethos is as per Sonia Gandhi and her henchmen: Muslim / Christian / Marxist
