An interesting fact:
Little did Mahabali know the Radiant Vamana standing before him was the very Lord Himself. Hence expansively proclaimed:
" May you never ever stand before anyone stretching out your hand asking for anything ".The Angels approved in unison.
Hence , Bhattathri says Narayana as Lord Krishna enters with a beatific smile and helps Himself to freshly churned butter , curds and so on.
Without asking for permission.
Because Mahabali surrendered himself was Blessed by Narayana.
Under Mahabali's rule there was no need for anyone to do charities or upliftment.
That was precisely the Bharatvarsh which the Chinese traveller Hieun Tsang discovered to his amazement.Not a single thief.Even precious things would be lying unclaimed or coveted.
