The Indian govt. has revoked a plan to give 900 acres to the Amarnath shrine. Of course, since Hindus are being robbed, there will be no human-rights or religious-rights activists protesting this move. And when RSS or VHP do protest, they will be branded communalists.
What a shame the land of Dharma has come to!

My family is in Srinagar and therefore I've gotten a daily digest of happenings there.
Before Tuesday everything was on a complete standstill and processions involving really young kids (pre-teen), teenagers and young men were patrolling the streets shouting "Pakistan Zindabad" and whatever they shout in Arabic to declare that their Allah is the only God. On Tuesday, when the government withdrew the land transfer order (in writing mind you since Kashmiris don't trust anything verbal), the Mosques started braying that people should celebrate the "victory" and resume their daily activities (in addition to shouting that their Allah is the only God).
Throughout the whole evening and till late into the night there were fireworks in Srinagar and offices resumed on Wednesday. Their smugness was just dripping off of their faces and their gait had a noticeable bounce.
I'm basically from Jammu and I think people from this region should completely boycott everything from Kashmir from now on and they should NEVER forget this episode, EVER. This will mean hardships for the region since the economy of Jammu is Kashmir driven. But there always is a price to be paid for self preservation.
Next time these Kashmiris move their "Darbar" to Jammu, they should be made to sleep among pigs and dogs.
