The RaasLeela of Sharia in action never ceases to amaze. Here's the latest instance of the ROP's infinite compassion for women: Muslim clerics annul marriage of woman raped by her father-in-law. Where is the outcry from the "secular progressives"? Where is the breast beating about human rights violations? Where is the lament about women's liberation?
Teesta? Shabana? Brinda? Angana? Where are they? Calling for Narenda Modi's prosecution? It must be all his fault. This is a sinister Hindu-Zionist-Yankee conspiracy to defame the Religion of Peace.
These fine ladies lose no opportunity to agitate for the "constitutional right" of adolescent minor Hindu girls to elope with Mohammedan demographic warriors and be governed by Sharia law. They then proceed to mysteriously go AWOL when the "egalitarianism" of the desert is demonstrated on Indian terrain.
BTW, is anyone aware of the whereabouts of the infamous poetess Madhavi Kutty? The one who declared after her conversion to the ROP that she felt "liberated by the veil".

Madhavikutty left Kerala an year or two ago. I think she is in Pune now and probably too old to think about any new literary work.
