Yes, I was going to post on this too. The Memristor is a hitherto undiscovered fundamental missing link in electronics, capable of vastly increasing memory storage capacities, and unlocking artificial intelligence. A memristor could be made capable of imitating a neuron, at a tiny fraction of the size, and acting like a memory unit while using little to no energy. Computers and electronics would have to be fundamentally redesigned to make use of it, and would become vastly more efficient and compact. Mark my words, these people have discovered something very fundamental and disruptive. Established manufacturers of hard drives, memory chips and other storage media could go out of business due to this.
