how the US treats its immigrants (non-white, that is)

may 4th, 2008

scary stuff, people should be conscious of this sort of behavior. this is what led to the concentration camps set up for japanese during world war 2. fascism is just beneath the surface. note that the immigrants talked about in the story are all non-whites.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/05/nyregion/05detain.html?hp

note: indian-origin maya nand from fiji was a LEGAL IMMIGRANT, ie. green-card holder, and he was detained because his CITIZENSHIP WAS DECLINED, and then he was basically killed by the system. naturally, since he was only a hindu, the kkkangress govt did not react. if he had been a mohammedan, e ahamed (junior minister for mohammedan affairs worldwide) would immediately have been on a plane to new york. incidentally, there was a similar judicial murder of an indian immigrant, the sikh priest named khem singh was the victim. the indian government did not say one word.

see my old column on khem singh, http://www.rediff.com/news/2004/mar/22rajeev.htm

so this is how the US treats immigrants.

watch how the chinese will include these in their next 'human rights report' that never fails to shut the yanks up.

indians of course will yell and scream fruitlessly about bush saying the food price rice is because indians are eating too much. but nothing more substantial.

Yesterday I had a dream of Narendra Modi being the PM of India. He starts up a national level discussion of redrawing state borders, much like straight line borders of all the states. Everyone was screaming about it, and discussions go on for a year. And at the end, he brings in another argument of States ruled by a person directly elected by People, and he intelligently combines the two, and at the end of three years, there seem to be a consensus, and the next national election is held with new states participating.
He never uses any of the negative words like, the language, caste, varnas anything like that. He starts the discussion as for administrative reasons. Thats it.

Its just a Dream, and I had a glass of water, as I started sweating, went back to sleep.

Yes we are in sleep!!!!

i remember when khem singh was murdered, FOIL, FOSA, ASHA, AID, were deafeningly quiet.

but when a guinean named amadou diallo was killed by police in a case of mistaken identity, certainly the FOIL guys were there marching and shouting slogans.

why? well, here's a clue. amadou diallo was a mohammedan.
