christism as a big MNC business: economist agrees with me

feb 21st, 2007

i have often claimed that the catholic church is the oldest, largest, meanest, most profitable, most ruthless MNC in the world. i wrote a column 'the saint business' from this perspective -- and claimed that the manufacturing of "saints" [sic] was a brilliant marketing tactic by the church.

glad to see the economist generally agreeing with this view.
