Trump Admin Makes Moves Against NeoCons / Deep State
Trump's DNI (Director of National Intelligence) Tulsi Gabbard has announced sweeping cuts to personnel at US intelligence agencies which all fall under her, as part of a broader shakeup and reorganization:
Also announced is a freeze on intelligence sharing with Five Eyes countries on Ukraine:

Quick notes: State capitalism | EnCharge AI...
- USA copying China? A generation ago conventional wisdom held that as China liberalized, its economy would come to resemble America’s. Instead, capitalism in America is starting to look like China - 'State capitalism with American characteristics' - a sea change from the free market ethos the U.S. once embodied. . . . Trump reviving crony capitalism.
- Reverse privatization: Trump says U.S. govt has gained 10% stake in Intel. . . Inside Intel’s tricky dance with Trump
- Consumers bearing the burden of tariffs: Walmart says tariff costs are rising 'each week' and will continue
- India pauses plans to buy U.S. arms after Trump's tariffs: Discussions on India's purchases of Stryker combat vehicles made by General Dynamics Land Systems and Javelin anti-tank missiles developed by Raytheon and Lockheed Martin have been paused due to the tariffs.
- Fistful Of Dollars: Rice for Vietnam farmers displaced for Trump Golf Club.
- Confine solar to rooftops and canals: India's largest solar energy project threatening Ladakh nomads and Pashmina wool.
- The Shipping Container That Might Replace Solar Farms: 0.59 acres per MW. As opposed to Solar PV's 0.97 acres per MW. . . . How a Stirling Engine works
- EnCharge AI: Princeton researcher Naveen Verma’s startup claims their chip tackles AI workloads with performance per watt up to 20 times better than competing chips.
- Power hungry toy: AI's soaring energy consumption is causing skyrocketing power bills for households across the US — States reporting spikes in energy costs of up to 36%
- Raja Koduri is back in the GPU business: Unveils new startup, Oxmiq Labs, bringing 500 Years of combined experience via world-class GPU & AI architects
- AI pervert: Meta AI chatbots gave false medical advice and flirted with minors — now the company is restructuring its AI division again - fourth restructuring in six months.
- Open-source in AI: Huawei is making its Ascend AI GPU software toolkit open-source to better compete against CUDA. . . Chinese censorship bias in LLMs
- Think beyond cars:
- India's ethanol drive imperils its push for edible oil self-sufficiency: Depressing oilseed prices and prompting farmers to plant more corn and rice in place of soybeans and groundnuts
- Milk may not help the elderly: People who live in countries with the lowest rates of hip fractures also tend to drink the least milk. Drinking more milk was not associated with lower fracture risk

China's Reaction to US-Russia Summit, and What India Should Do
The Chinese are concerned that the Trump-Putin summit may result in a breakthrough for peace.
The Chinese want the Russia-Ukraine war to continue, so that US & Russia will be at loggerheads. That will keep US preoccupied and more distracted from dealing with China's rise. It will certainly undermine America's long-promised 'Pivot to Asia'
Just as the Chinese want the war to continue, shouldn't we Indians want to increase chances of peace?
Why can't Modi promise to Trump to nominate him for Nobel Peace Prize, if he achieves a landmark peace with Russia on this Ukraine conflict? We know how badly Trump wants to get the Nobel Peace Prize. so why not promise to help him on that, if he does the deal?
Unlike post-Sindoor ceasefire, achieving Russia-Ukraine peace is indeed Nobel-worthy, since that conflict genuinely poses the danger of WW3. A solid case could be made for a Nobel over this -- and Modi could promise to go to bat for Trump on this. Unlike Asim Munir, a nomination from India's leader would hold more sway.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. 😑

'Cutting India down to size'
Is there something deeper in the US' muted response to Munir's remarks that signals strategic indifference to stability in South Asia?
I think they are actually encouraging the Pakistanis to do this because they think that the Indians have got too big for their boots.
The current American establishment thinks that we need to cut the Indians down to size, and they will pull out all stops to do that.
People think this is just about some trade deal, but why should India take GM seeds from the Americans? Why should we go into bondage with the Americans on something as basic as seeds?
Can one infer that the US is using Munir's threats against India to get even with the Modi government for not succumbing to tariff threats?
I won't say the US president is firing from Munir's shoulders, but he doesn't object if somebody is doing this. What he is probably trying to do is use Pakistan as a tool against India -- partly to negotiate, partly to cut India to size.
That's the old American game, or at least that's what has been the feeling in India -- that it's the Americans who ensure that things never settle down in this region. I would add the Brits to that, but they don't exercise the same power as they did. They just have a great ability to sabotage things and disturb things. - Sushant Sareen, Senior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation
'Trump Tilting Towards Pakistan' - Max Abrahms: "What we had not heard before is this sort of nuclear threat from American soil. And if this was the only incident, I would find it rather unremarkable. But what we are currently witnessing is a trend where it appears that this second Trump administration is tilting towards Pakistan and away from India. We've actually seen it throughout this whole summer."
"I will say, however, that even if some of the tariffs are lifted, I still think that the US-India relationship may not fully recover for quite some time under this administration".
"Because the message to India is that the United States isn't reliable, and that is happening at the same time that the US is inviting the army chief of Pakistan for high-level meetings, including with the President in the United States".
Trump's tariffs spark calls to boycott American goods
From McDonald's and Coca-Cola to Amazon and Apple, U.S.-based multinationals are facing calls for a boycott in India to protest against U.S. tariffs.
India, the world's most populous nation, is a key market for American brands that have rapidly expanded to target a growing base of affluent consumers, many of whom remain infatuated with international labels.
India, for example, is the biggest market by users for Meta's WhatsApp and Domino's has more restaurants than any other brand in the country. Beverages like Pepsi and Coca-Cola often dominate store shelves, and people still queue up when a new Apple store opens or a Starbucks cafe doles out discounts.
Rahm Shastry, CEO of India's DriveU, which provides a car driver on call service, wrote on LinkedIn: "India should have its own home-grown Twitter/Google/YouTube/WhatsApp/FB — like China has."
I am discussing USA & China collaborating to break up India and share different pieces. They will also divide the Muslim parts of South Asia to keep them from uniting into a massive Islamic power. China will want the northern parts and maybe some Marxist belts, along with access…

Donald Trump Risks Tanking Twenty-Five Years of U.S.-India Relations

Quick notes: Neglected ally | Cow abuse...
-
America returns to its neglected ally: For destabilising Iran, America needs land access. This is how the Pakistanis were used during the Afghan wars, targeting the Russians.
From Iran's nuclear programme to Afghanistan's lithium reserves, Pakistan's unique positioning at the crossroads of America's most pressing strategic concerns has transformed it from a neglected ally into an indispensable partner. . . After 25+ years of progress, India-US ties take a U-turn, history repeats - "The U.S. is not an ally of India": "The U.S. is absolutely uninterested in India based supply chains. Trump is uninterested in that. He is incapable of long-term strategic relations and any of that. India should not presume that the U.S. will do great favors to India. Thats is not going to happen". . . . listen to him, India. Stop being naive.
- Trump Wants Big Pie Of India's Economy: They want their companies like Amazon to have more facilities for operations. They want unlimited data flow for Google. So, it is beyond tariff, it is beyond trade. The US wants a big pie of the domestic economy.
- Experts warn Trump: Caving on Nvidia H20 export curbs may disrupt his bigger trade war
- Blessed to have engineers at the helm: China is developing nation-spanning network to sell surplus data center compute power
- Cow abuse: Coca-Cola under fire after undercover investigation reveals disturbing scenes at farm: 'A habitual offender'. Investigators also recorded pregnant and sick cows being whipped, punched, kicked, and beaten with metal objects, including shovels, wrenches, and pipes. The abuse was carried out by various staff, including owners, managers, and ranch hands. . . . blacklist Coke!
- Shut humanities department in STEM institutions:
- SEBI, Jane Street and India’s Regulatory Dilemma: Watch at 2x
- Evangelicals lobbied hard for this: Texas law will require Ten Commandments to be posted in every public school classroom
exactly. the intangibles sold to India are now invisible. but they could attract 50% punitive retaliatory taxes, couldn't they? https://t.co/gXOZDm5wAS

Trump Quickly Brokers Armenia-Azerbaijan Peace Agreement & Acquires Territory Along Iran's Northern Border
What's happening to our role in the Armenia conflict now? I just heard that today the Whitehouse is holding a big signing ceremony event with the leaders of both Armenia & Azerbaijan signing an historic peace agreement, in which Armenia will conveniently give up the southern edge of its territory to create a corridor linking both parts of Azerbaijan together. It's all been quickly arranged - faster than you can say "Abraham Accords"
The corridor is to be called the Trump Route for International Peace & Prosperity (TRIPP)
And this corridor will conveniently be manned & secured by US troops who will be positioned all along Iran's northern boundary. Trump is turning into NeoCon Cecil Rhodes or East India Company or Commodore Perry, or something like that. I'd read that Trump is an admirer of William McKinley.
"My, what big eyes you have grandma!"
"The better to see you with, my child"
"My, what a nice corridor you have, grandma!"
"The better to destabilize you and cause regime change in you, my child"

US Senator Lindsey Graham Joins Trump in Taking Swipe Against India
For that fatass crook Lindsey Graham to accuse anyone else of "war profiteering" is the height of hypocrisy -- the Pot Calling the Kettle Black.

Well said, Mr. President.
— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) August 4, 2025
I appreciate your strong commitment to ending this bloodbath in Ukraine. Making those like India pay a price for their war profiteering is a good place to start. https://t.co/CChRCMCWpi
Lindsey Graham seems to conveniently overlook TURKSTREAM, which imports lots of Natural Gas from Russia and re-sells it to Europe. I don't see any comments from the Senator against Turkey. I think Graham is going after India in particular, as an insurance policy to protect himself from a potential challenge to his Senate seat by fellow South Carolinian Nikki Haley, who is of Indian descent.
But Nikki Haley is a NeoCon -- they ran her as their candidate against Trump in 2023-24. She was their hope of regaining power by winning the Whitehouse for them.
But after Nikki Haley flopped against Trump, they quickly discarded her just like Kamala Harris was abandoned after failing to beat Trump.
I think there's a possibility of pro-India supporters wooing abandoned Nikki Haley and bringing her back over from the NeoCon side. Once on the pro-India side, she can be backed for a Senate run against that fatass Lindsey Graham, who is up for re-election in 2026.
After having campaigned on a platform opposed to the NeoCon agenda, Trump himself now suddenly seems to have switched over to the NeoCon side and surrendered to their agenda anyway. This suddenly happened after Netanyahu's Whitehouse visit. I suspect it may be due to some kind of NeoCon/Israeli blackmail stemming from the Epstein case. If they can grab Trump, then we should try to grab Nikki Haley, as there's no love lost between her and Trump whom she ran against.

Whitehouse Spokesman Stephen Miller Lacerates India on FOX News

"India portrays itself as our closest friend. But it doesn't accept our products. India cheats on immigration and buys Russian oil, which is unacceptable. President Trump wants a good relationship with India but we need to get real," says top Trump adviser Stephen Miller pic.twitter.com/3ubv7OLYgc
— Shashank Mattoo (@MattooShashank) August 4, 2025
Somebody should get that miserable old wretch Rupert Murdoch on the phone, and start squeezing his balls - especially his crummy little Star TV - to show our displeasure with his FOX News and anchor Maria Bartiromo's echoing of Stephen Miller's nasty statements against India. I think Arnab should start speaking out against Murdoch's media empire right away, since Arnab could immediately benefit by gaining market share for himself & his RepublicTV at Murdoch's expense. Arnab and other Indian broadcasters can rally the Indian public against Neo-MacCaulayist colonizer Murdoch and his media empire, who are needlessly being given a license to broadcast in India. If that old crook Murdoch could fire Tucker Carlson, then he can damn well get us a groveling apology from Bartiromo and FOX management. Failing that, then Murdoch's enterprises should be hounded out of India. Just like the ED raid on BBC's offices, there should be a raid on Murdoch/Star TV's offices in India.
Bust Murdoch's Aussie balls - hard. No more Mr Nice Guy.
Trump depends on Murdoch's media empire -- many of Trump's senior staff are from Murdoch-owned FOX -- and Aussie Murdoch's media empire is within our reach (eg. Star TV). We need to go after Murdoch's businesses, and put the squeeze on him. That will send Trump & Co a message they can't ignore.
