My essay on the subject was published this morning. 

I am not a conspiracy theory buff, but my research in this area has made me more and more convinced that Nehru's role in the entire saga was most questionable. And a Faustian plot between Nehru-Congress, the British and Stalin is clearly a possible explanation. Throughout history, there have been many such convenient alliances that have been made only to protect shared interests.
