Hyperloop - Musk's Latest Venture

Elon Musk has proposed a radical new transportation concept - the Hyperloop, a 1000-mile long vacuum tube which could zip people between Los Angeles and San Francisco at 800 mph, like those old pneumatic mail tubes. As the unofficial successor to Steve Jobs, billionaire Musk's ideas are more than just innovative - they are a disruptive challenge to the entrenched order:

Meanwhile, Musk's other futuristic venture, SpaceX has released yet another video of their Grasshopper reusable rocket test platform in lateral flight:

SpaceX likes to tout itself as the "special forces of engineering ... [doing] the missions that others think are impossible." Clearly, in a time when the world economy is suffering from stagnation, such elite daring achievers are sorely needed. Certainly, more Indians need to be like Elon Musk - indeed, it's too bad he isn't an Indian.
