Kalari Expert Has Jackie Chan's Moves

I recently watched the movie "Commando  - One Man Army" starring Vidyut Jamwal. Some aspects were fairly standard, including the plot, a Miss India playing the heroine - and a whiny one at that - but what stood out to me were the over-the-top action scenes, which were authentically executed by the star himself. Jamwal, who supposedly trains in the Indian martial art of Kalaripayattu, seems to be an Indian Jackie Chan or Tony Jaa.

Look Ma - no wires:

Usually most Indian action heroes are 40-something and fighting their bulging guts. But this guy genuinely pulls off the moves in a way that should make the established veterans nervous. The choreography from South African action director Franz Sphilhaus certainly helps. Move over Jet Li - there's a new guy in town.
