Dear Devotee/Friend,

As a part of our service activities we, Ramakrishna Math, Ulsoor, Bangalore, are conducting Rural Educational Service Activities for the Past 9 years. By the Grace of the Lord, in this academic year also (2012-13), our Ashrama has distributed Notebooks, Dictionary, Stationeries and other study materials to rural school children who are studying in the Government Primary & High Schools.

Distribution started on 7^th June 2012 and ended on 7^th July 2012. About 35 Volunteers assisted us on various dates. Children were taught prayers, general hygiene and were introduced to teachings of Swami Vivekananda.

More than 16,900 students, studying in 185 Selected Govt. Schools & Pre University Colleges, situated at (remote/backward) 141 villages from 6 Taluks (Pawgada, Malur, Madhugiri, Gauribidanoor, Hosakote, Kanakapura) in Karnataka State, India are benefited by this project.
