===============================================

Overview:

The undeniable hype that cloud computing generated
in the last while has seen an explosion in services
and features offered by both newcomers as well as
established players from traditional online markets.
As organizations look to the cloud to cut costs and
improve efficiencies, they should keep in mind that
the cloud world is unstable and prone to disruptive
changes. Security, as is often the case, lags behind
features when assessing the suitability of cloud services.
This webcast will provide a short background on common
cloud services as well as popular providers for these
services, before delving into a raft of simple attacks
that demonstrate the fragility of many cloud services.
The webcast will highlight common areas of weakness and
identify the underlying risks that should be protected
against.

Sponsor Information

Black Hat would like to thank this month's webcast sponsor
Intel for their continued support. Intel's SOA Expressway
is a soft-appliance deployed to address common XML and SOA
problem areas such as acceleration, security, service mediation,
and service governance. The product delivers network edge,
gateway security that reduces security risks for access to
cloud services. For more read the Intel Cloud Security white
paper that outlines how to deploy a dynamic security perimeter
for cloud that addresses: multi-tenancy, insecure APIs, data
protection, account hacking, tiered access control, and auditing.
