have you noticed how people have been saying, in so many words, 'the targets of the mumbai bombs were rich hindu gujarati diamond-traders'?
the implication: it's ok to massacre gujarati diamond-traders.
why? a) they are rich
b) they are hindu
c) they are gujarati
obviously a) is standard marxist-speak
b) is standard mohammedan-fundamentalist-speak
but c) is new. c) is raj-sardesai-speak and ndtv-speak and pankaj-mishra-speak. what it means is hte following: some gujaratis killed some mohammedans. therefore all gujaratis deserve to be killed, and nobody should mourn their deaths.
true enough, where were the sob-stories about the families of the dead gujaratis? not in the ELM. i remember that the ELM was full of sob-stories about ishrat jehan (the mohammedan girl who accompanied a hindu-convert-terrorist and two pakistani terrorists in a car to kill modi). there is no such breast-beating about any of the 190 people killed in mumbai.
further, the implication is that there is an 'original sin' committed by the hindu gujaratis. since they killed some mohammedans, henceforth till the end of the world, every mohammedan murder of any hindu anywhere can be justified as being caused by the pain of the gujarat riots.
this is demonization of the first order. goebbels would be quite proud of the ELM. i am waiting with bated breath for the day when the ELM 'discovers' (as is said of jews: this is part of what they protest is blood libel) that vegetarian gujarati hindus use the blood of new-born mohammedan infants in various rituals!
demonization is a wonderful tactic. this has always worked against the enemy: eg. the yanks demonizing the japanese as yellow devils. the spanish conquistadors demonizing the mayans as cannibals.
ergo, the ELM views the hindus as the enemy. this is a lemma
okay, let's say, for arguments' sake, that we accept that there is an original sin by hindus.
but then, what about the original sin that caused the gujarat riots? what about the 59 women and children, pilgrims, roasted mercilessly in godhra?
so that 'original sin' is not relevant?
similarly, the other 'original sins' of hindus: x) some mohammedans have been beaten up in kashmir, y) a disused mosque in ayodhya was pulled down.
take x). what about the 400,000 kashmiri hindus who have been ethnically cleansed? how about the tens of thousands raped, mutilated, abducted, blinded, tortured, etc.? well, those people don't matter, and talking about their human rights is an act of 'religious extremism'
and what about the 1000s of kashmiri mohammedans who have set up shop in every corner of india? isn't this a nice convenient network for sleeper cells? what right do they have to live in the rest of india if the rest of indians have no right to live in jammu and kashmir?
take y). how about at least 100,000 hindu temples that have demonstrably been destroyed by mohammedans? there is no sin in that?
and if we want to talk about 'original sin', what about the mohammedan sin of pulling down all those temples? wouldn't it be appropriate -- to use the same technique -- to justify any atrocity against any mohammedan anywhere as just rewards for the temple-breaking?
why, can't we go even further? what about the 'original sin' of mohammedan invasions of india? can't we -- using the marxists' own technique -- therefore justify any violent act by anybody (including the israelis and the yanks) anywhere against mohammedans by pointing to the original sin of the mohammedan invasion of india, which wiped out the buddhists, and set back civilization by a thousand years?
if you don't accept this line of reasoning, then the 'original sin' theory doesn't hold water. there is no justification in blithely accepting the deaths of 'rich hindu gujarati diamond-traders'. by doing this, the ELM is basically saying that the human rights of terrorists and outlaws are far greater than those of normal, law-abiding civilians.
this is an abomination of the highest order, and shows the degradation of the media in india.

haha how accurate.
and the recent original sin, if you will, was the godhra massacre. it is shameful, beyond shameful that no one mentions godhra when they talk of riots. but such are most of the hindus, spineless and souless. they are f*king their mother(land) good & proper....i am sure that makes these eunuchs feel very brave and manly.
very pertinent, relevant point:
"and what about the 1000s of kashmiri mohammedans who have set up shop in every corner of india? isn't this a nice convenient network for sleeper cells? what right do they have to live in the rest of india if the rest of indians have no right to live in jammu and kashmir?"
--- neither jk "freedom fighters" nor pak have any business to talk of kashmir not being in india, as long as these people are in the rest of india.
they should leave first. live anywhere but in india. after all, they are not indians, by their own assertion. what are they doing here ?

The Puke-istani Bastard [PB] - Vinod Mehta - pukes again in outlook
Me thinks, PB is not unique. He actually represents a lot of Indians. May be not majority, but dangerously large population who think like him. The only difference being PB and Mahesh Bhatt - let's call him PB2, just spell out their opinion in public.
The fact remains that very large number of Indians consider Shiv Sena behind these blasts. Lot of them are convinced that it is a "revenge" of Gujarat riots or may be even Babri.
After the blasts I personally spoke to people i know, who said similar things. And they were all the so called "educated" people.
Sometimes i feel the collective IQ of India is lower than Somalia. Even they understand who their real enemy is.
Even if the LeT guy comes live on TV tomorrow and proclaims loudly -"We were behind the blasts" .. half of the country will say - "it's doctored".
Actually the Indians have out-Stockholmed the Stockholm Syndrome. We are the new bench mark of Stockholm Syndrome. A new term should be coined - 'The Indian Syndrome'
Gujarathi's are very prosperous outside Gujarat as a community. They are quite united with their Samaj's etc. They should sue this ELM for their steriotyping.
Parallels between UPA Government attitude and the conduct of the Nazi Party during Hitler's rise in Germany
Harsh
Rajdeep Sardesai's reasons for hating Gujaratis might be a little more personal. Somone told me a few years ago that he was ruffed up in Ahemadabad by Bajrang Dal people who tore his cloths and made him apologise. Was that a true story? Has anyone else heard of it?
Oh yes, that is what they did to him, as per what I gathered. I heard the report only once though. Has anyone else heard it independently? I heard it from a Secular minded chap. It might just be a rumour or a calculated plant to garner some sympathy, or just to show Bajrang Dal in bad light. Who knows what strategies various groups adopt?
India continues in the direction of being a sham democracy. The PM and his boss have remained silent on the ban of bloggers. The media have not asked for their opinion. If things become hot, some lower official or some technician from ISPs will be made the scapegoat.
I would like to know whether Manmohan Singh has made a statement on this issue. Unless he is forced to do so, this censorship will not halt. It is easy to find more potent technical means to stop the bloggers. Please do not get carried away by the thought that better technique can beat the ban.
The ban should not be there, in any form, period!
Rajdeep is only a symptom. The entire English Language Media is run by a bunch of psecs and anti-Indians. Now the goodies are a little more opulent than earlier when the only privilege offered was Govt acco in Lutyens Delhi or invites to the right parties. I am sure that there must be several 'incentives' on offer that result in these worthies debunking anyone contradicting their world view. Integrity and patriotism are the only values that matter for the press. If these are compromised, the result is Rajdeep Sardesai and his clones. The only sad thing is that there appears to be nothing on the horizon to break this nexus of like minded unpatriotic anti-Indians.
If money and goodies were the reasons for the 'secular' crusade of the mediamen, it should be possible to use the reasons in favour of something better. Did BJP try to keep them happy? Did BJP address this issue anytime? If BJP is just going to remain a 'pure' party (there is enough evidence to suggest individual leaders in BJP are not so pure) will it ever be able to deliver? Can Tirupati not put some pressure on the mediameen?
Finally, if no Hindu organization is going to address this problem, is there a point in being a patriot?
