an example of poor 'oppressed' 'minority' mohammedans in action in bhiwandi.
in the pankaj mishra twist on this, to appear in the new york times shortly, the headline will be:
"Cops lynch their own in attempt to make Mohammedans look bad"
the economist will then weigh in with a report of 2,000 mohammedans massacred by the police in bhiwandi; in retaliation for which, of course, naturally, the mohammedans killed two policemen. the policemen killed, of course, were under the nefarious influence of narendra modi.

Killing policemen is the old habit of Sunnis and aggressive muslims. In Bhiwandi, in 1970's, a very capable Police Inspector, (I think his surname was Gokhale) was ruthlessly killed when he was doing his duty. There must have been many others. Who knows how many murders our secular press suppressed till the improvement in communication technology forced them to report everything (they still have the freedom of arranging pages...but they cannot suppress searches).
Incidentally, could anyone tell us whether the blatantly biased report by economist could be the subject of a class action suit? Why not alert the lawyer who fought the case against McDonald and won it for Hindus?
