With the dispute over Crimea becoming a serious crisis, there has been a sharpening of Cold War tensions not seen since the Balkans conflict:

Indians should be very wary of this potentially influencing our national security. We know from our own bitter past experience that when the Atlanticists feel the Russian bear breathing on their European necks, then they "creatively" reach for the convenient Pakistani dagger to push against the Russian underbelly. If Zbigniew Brzezinski's children get agitated enough, they'll want to revive the Pak-jihadi scourge and bring its genie out of the bottle again. We should be very concerned about this possibility, and its terrorism-related consequences on India.
Fool Me Once, Shame On You.
Fool Me Twice, Shame On Me.

Atlanticists is the absolutely correct term. Add to this picture American (not Israeli) Jewish neocons, and the bile spewed by the likes of Doniger and Nusbaum begin to make sense. Victoria Nuland, the State Department hand behind the Ukrainian coup, is married to the chief Atlanticist, Robert Kagan.
Yeah, and just remember that Kagan was a key proponent of the invasion of Iraq, before recusing himself under a withering backlash against the likes of himself, Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, William Krystol, etc. You may remember the cold reception that Krystol et al received when they made a foray to India to dialogue with its strategic thinker community. But they seem to have recovered their lost footing by finding Russia as a perenially useful bogeyman to rake up trouble with. These guys need to revive global confrontations as a way to give currency to their own personal parochial causes.
