and he is right. i have been shouting from the rooftops that there is no such animal as the "kerala model". it is simply a money-order economy. and it has good indicators because it had good kings who did not waste money. you know, the same kings of travancore who saved up $22 billion in gold, now in the padmanabha swamy temple in trivandrum?
very unlike the UPA, the NAC, and other assorted socialists, these kings were wise and invested in people and infrastructure such as schools and roads and water supply systems.
the more i see of them, the more i think rule by good kings is the right model -- sort of like lee kwan yew did in singapore. democracy, which means kakistocracy in india, is strictly for the birds.
