The transitional government leader Mustafa Abdul-Jalil said Islamic Sharia law would be the "basic source" of legislation in the country and that existing laws that contradict the teachings of Islam would be nullified. New banks would be set up to follow the Islamic banking system, which bans charging interest.

They are already talking of scrapping the law which did not allow libyan men to marry four times and divorce saying talaq thrice calling it anti sharia. Libyan women can look forward to dark days ahead.
