Nokia has become Microsoft's puppy.
What set apart the Finnish was the absolute top notch hardware. Remember Nokia 1100? One of the best selling dumb phones, with awesome battery life and solid ruggedness. However, Nokia was besotted with stupid red tapism and inability to see the writing on the wall: iPhone.
After they sold their soul to Redmond, it was more of an "American invasion in the heart of Europe". I felt really bad when Elop (more like a "flop") CEO of Nokia (ex-microsoft guy) announced partnership with the Redmond buggers. Hence the following write up:
It is too difficult to comment on state of the software till we actually see some reviews, but most likely, there are going to be no complaints on the hardware front.
I would have bet my hard earned money on Meego, the Linux derived operating system that had the true potential to shake things up.
Forget about the crappy nonsense about the apps or the applications. Most of them are pretty useless (I have had an Android Phone earlier) and do nothing to enhance the value of the phone. In any case, most of the phones come with pathetic internal RAM which is eaten up by the applications and drain the battery like a tap.
Lets see how the latest entrant heats up the market.
