TIME Magazine & India's "Saber-Rattling"

TIME Magazine writes about "India's saber-rattling public"

I wish India were powerful enough to do what is immediately rational and solve its problems itself, through military strikes or whatever necessary. Like the US did in Afghanistan after 9/11.

Instead, our primary focus seems to be to convince the Western media etc., whose response will be to apathetically equate India and Pakistan and wish for 'peace' (which in our case refers to the period of inaction until the next set of attacks occur), without any form of sympathy for the fundamental issues at hand.

It is confusing as to how all this 'evidence sharing' with the ISI will help us.

Did anyone else notice that Ishaan Tharoor is the son of Shashi Tharoor?

This from Wikipedia about Shashi Tharoor :
"He married Tilottoma Mukherjee from Kolkata, India, a journalist and scholar, at the age of 21, from whom he is now divorced. He is the father of twin sons, Ishaan and Kanishk, who have recently graduated from Yale. One of the twins, Ishaan lives in Hong Kong and works for Time magazine and the other brother, Kanishk, is a resident of London working for openDemocracy. Recently he got remarried to Christa Giles, a Canadian who is Deputy Secretary of the United Nations Disarmament Commission."

Why would one want to share evidence with the perpetrators of the crime?

If we build up troops on the border with Pak, then at least it will put the US forces on the same hotseat as India.

Ishaan Tharoor... sometime relating to Shashi Tharoor?

And beside this stupid article, I saw a link to another article-'The perils of blaming Pakistan'.

Why are these Atlanticst magazines afraid of India invading Pukistan?
They have the birth right to attack nations?
Also, why are they filled by pro-paki articles?

Yes, I agree with the above comment of slim_shady, I wish we solved our own problems instead of western approval like Nehru.

I agree with the troop build up, and I dont understand why do we even listen to the stupid argument, that then Pak will move its troops from west to east, weakening the war on terror. Then what do we call our war? The hypocrisy, western life is costlier than easterner life.

I guess stupidity runs in the family. Shashi Tharoor ran for the post of UN Sec Gen like he was running for the US President and even gave a "concession speech."

Is he retarded or what? The way to contest the UN Sec Gen post is to be nominated for the post by your country and not run a public campaign which is meaningless.
