"Shavraj" Patil (pun intended, from a commentor on an earlier post) has resigned too late. The dumb fellow seems relieved to be taken off, going by his statements. Not that his resignation changes anything, but why did he take so long? What the hell was he waiting for? The cure "Chidambaram" is worse than the disease. This useless Patil chap is a fall guy. The people who really need to be axed are Madmoron Singh, Sonia (from what post though?), AK Antony, etc. The purpose of axing Patils and Deshmukhs is to cool the public temper.
I strongly suspect that blaming the service chiefs and intelligence agencies is a ploy to deflect criticism from Madmoron Singh and his useless coterie. Madmoron wants to come clean out of this by blaming the defense forces. The truth seems to be that there were definite intelligence inputs about infiltration of RDX and weapons by sea, but the government chose to ignore them. Cannot offend the poor suffering minorities, no? Let the boys have a little fun with the gun, right?
At times like these, the Prime Minister should actually be talking and inspiring the nation to get up and keep going, not be defeated. But instead, this wimp is really invisible. The papers reported how the worthless PM was actually reading from handwritten placards (shuffled by Doordarshan sarkari babus) during his address to the nation. Funny indeed. This PM is a pathetic loser.
Advani and Modi have been largely silent. For a while, this is a good step, given that any action they take will be pounced upon by the Congressi thugs in the media. Advani did ask Madmoron to jointly travel to Mumbai and be united for once. Madmoron declined. Advani went alone. But of course, to not allow Advani and Modi to garner the limelight, Madmoron did eventually land up. I dont see anything wrong in Modi visiting Mumbai. This is actually a job of the PM and his ministers. The PM and his ministers did so. Reluctantly. After they realized that Advani and Modi are going there anyway. Even now, the cheap Congressi politics of CM kee kursi is going on in Maharashtra.
Also, the muslims have voiced that the terrorists will not be allowed to be buried on Indian soil. Classic al-takiya tactics. Okay, just throw the bodies back to where they came from. The sea. The poor endangered sharks need some food :-) na? Then see how these same muslims and their apologists come up with same old human rights stuff, dignity for the dead, its against Islam, etc etc.
