today's big #fail: intel hardware flaw that affects all its chips, and thus most of our comptuers


need an OS patch, but that won't fix everything. it will also slow the computer down.

Per Google: Variants of this issue are known to affect many modern processors, including certain processors by Intel, AMD and ARM.
