One of the most telling legacies of the
UPA dispensation will be the emasculation of nationalism in all constitutional entities and state apparatus. The Indian army, unfortunately is no exception to the
pseudo-liberal rot. The systematic and deliberate humiliation of General. V.K. Singh, a former chief of army staff by the corrupt and compromised UPA would not have gone unnoticed by the soldiery - yet another disincentive to put themselves in harm's way in the line of duty for a largely apathetic and ungrateful citizenry led by the most vile
anti-national elements, the scum of society.
The last 10 years of pseudo-liberal UPA rule have caused serious damage to India's finest institution - the armed forces - with dangerous ramifications for national security and the future of the Indian Union itself in the long term.
As an Indian patriot, one hopes
that the damage is neither irreparable
nor irreversible.

The shabby treatment given to Mr VK Singh is not very different from that given to Devyani Khobragade by USA.
You're exactly right - a very appropriate analogy that I had not thought about. How dare the legislative council of Kashmir SUMMON a former chief of the Indian army? The separatist body should be demolished and burned for this outrage. This is probably the most disgraceful moment in the UPA's unedifying 10 year rule
