"Rice and Shine"
I read the news item for which you have given the link.
First of all, it is a story in a newspaper, not in a science journal or magazine, and therefore subject to hyperbole and distortions. In any case, extrapolation from "50sq.m" (i.e, ~7mx7m) to one hectare (10,000 square meters, or 100mx100m) is not scientifically acceptable. For example, once I had a 1 square meter patch in the backyard of my Delhi residence (the patch earlier housed a septic tank, which was removed when the colony was connected to the municipal sewerage), in which I had a rose plant that yielded 15cm diameter flowers, and an antigonium vine which grew so well that I could train it on to the terrace of the single storey building, the vine almost completely covered the terrace. It is not valid to extrapolate this to even a 100 square meter garden.
The news story itself reveals, "sceptics in the scientific community are not convinced. “Hardly any farmer is following SRI accurately. There is wider spacing and use of younger seedlings at the time of transplanting. Our field visits and study did not reveal any advantages as claimed by the farmers,” said Trilochan Mohapatra, director of Central Rice Research Institute in Cuttack, Odisha.". and "“Our team found that the yield was less than 50 per cent of what was claimed and [Sumant] Kumar was not available. Our report has been submitted to the DAC [department of agriculture and cooperation at the Centre],” he said."

Kejri, before and after
Kejriwal's party never wanted to form a government. The only item on its "agenda" was to win some seats in the Assembly, enabling its members to make some personal gains by creating nuisance. None of them seem to know how to conduct themselves with dignity in public, or to show respect to democratic institutions. If they did, they would not have held the "swearing-in" ceremony in Ram Lila grounds (rather than in the house of the Assembly) as if it were some nautanki; they would not have worn those silly caps while taking oath of office or inside the Assembly, thereby insulting the Assembly. Their behaviour is equivalent to displaying posters or shouting slogans in the Assembly. Kejriwal also gave an unmusical rendering of some poems, as if it were a mushaira. It is a pity that the Lt Governor agreed to administer the oath of office in Ram Lila grounds. Kejriwal's refusal to occupy the official residence allotted to him was also absolutely inappropriate. Imagine an unlikely situation of Kejriwal being nominated and "elected" as President of India. Can he refuse to live in the President's Estate and insist on living in a hut in a slum?
And now Kejriwal govt's law minister is insulting the judiciary by ordering the law secretary to call a meeting of judges, and "scolding" the secretary when he pointed out only the High Court can call such a meeting, not the government.
Kejriwal & Co are using propaganda methods not different from Hitler's. Kejriwal himself had indulged in criminal activities like personally helping people to steal electricity by making illegal connections. He should have been arrested and tried for the crime.
I wonder whether Kejriwal and his cohorts can do anything with the dignity and decorum demanded by the offices they hold.

Kejriwal looks more like a political Ponzi-scammer than anything else. Having no clear agenda for governance or any policy platform, he is simply resorting to Mayawati-style scheming for bigger offices like the PM slot, in order to escape his existing obligations to those who foolishly voted for him.
