And these are the people spewing rhetoric about "Aam Admi" (common man) ad infinitum, ad nauseum. This is of course, purely meant for consumption and regurgitation by the paid media.
A popular leader hailing from a humble background is intolerable and unacceptable to The Family. The rage of The Family's faithful retainers is reserved
for such people. What is this, if not a thinly veiled threat? Those in charge of Narendra bhai Modi's security should pay close attention to such intimidatory statements.
His Master's Voice (Aiyar's,that is) does
not make empty threats.

Years ago, when the late Rangarajan Kumaramangalam was a minister in the Vajpayee government, I saw him and Mani Shankar Aiyar participate in a TV discussion. MSA made some gestures (like feverishly picking up some small things with fingers of both hands) which Mr K correctly recognized as equivalent to a vituperative word in Tamil (Anyone knowing Tamil would have known that the gesture meant "porukki", loosely translated as "scoundrel".). Mr K did not stoop to retaliate in the same tenor, but stopped after merely pointing out that MSA was being crude.

Why do you refer to it as "tweet"? Mani Shankar was repeatedly seen (and heard) on TV news channels making the remarks (in Hindi) you have cited.
