Dharma Bee Contest For Kids

•A Nation-wide Quiz Contest for Children on occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s 150^th birth anniversary .

• Contest open for children across the nation (With aim to get 10,000 children participate)

• Register each kid separately with their individual user-id and password.

• All the questions come only from the study material posted in the website (available after the registration).

 

Basics

• Topics: Swami Vivekananda and Sri Krishna (Syllabus available online upon registration)

• Grades: K - 8^thgrade. (4 categories)

• K-1;2-3; 4-5;6-8

• Contest Levels – Local(Dharma Bee center) , Regional (Southern California) , and National

• Dates- Registration Started Jan 12th

 

Different Levels – Test Dates

• January 12^th – March 10th - Pre Qualify

- Pre-qualifying Online Practice Exam

- At home; Everyone

· Level1–Local :Dharma Bee Center -March (23^rd/24^th/30^th/31^st)

- In Person; Format - Written

- At a chosen dharma bee center and date

• Level 2 –Regional(April)

- In Person. All winners of Level 1;

• Level 3 – National-Chicago (3^rd/4^th weekend of June)

- 1^stplace winner of Level 2

- Exploring activity (required); Written, oral, and team work )
