given the shrine value and the anticipated setting up of a 'sacred site', i'd be asking no less than $10 mill. else it's a real distress sale.
there will soon appear a shrine -- it will be noticed that eating a bit of soil from the sacred last resting spot of bin laden is curing the blind, healing the lame, and making infertile females drop bonny babies like there's no tomorrow.
there will be considerable demand for soil -- which will be trucked in at night in large quantities. there will also be a roaring tourist trade, hotels etc will come up.
all will be well with the world. much money will flow to the powers that be.
this, in fact, is the tale in the terrific malayalam short story "the beatified kochappi" by lapsed catholic ponkunnam varkey. he exposed the hoaxes in the church, for which he was excommunicated! in that story, the grave of the about-to-be-sainted kochappi is where the miracles happen. alas, one fine day the late lamented and beatified kochappi suddenly reappears. the fine church gentlemen do what fine church gentlemen have to do: they bop him on the head with a blunt instrument and bury him. can't let small details interfere with business.
