Pakistan has rejected US calls to release one of its diplomats from police custody, following his arrest in a shooting incident. The US is demanding his release, saying he has diplomatic immunity.
san, international treaties are nonsense. if a diplomat murdered someone in usa, they would have arrested him and tried him.
vijay is absolutely right about india and bjp. i remember bjp hurriedly set peter bleach free perhaps because they knew they were about to lose the elections.

How would have India reacted in a similar situation?
- Bowed to US Bullying
- Got him out of the country in the first available opportunity
- Laid the blame on the sangh parivar.
BJP would have done pretty much the same but for point 3.
well, there is an international treaty on the treatment of diplomats
it applies just as much to our diplomats as to theirs
if India doesn't like it, then it didn't have to sign the treaty

The issue is that Pakistan has more guts compared to spineless pseudo secular, dehinduised, minority loving Indians.
Talking of minority appeasing, had the students been Muslims, hell would have hath no fury among our Maunmohans and Digvijays
just see how CONs are reacting to treatment of indian students (i.e. money for bankrupt universities of USA).
