hard to say how sincere this is: godman apologizes to hindus

oct 2nd, 2009

but there is a eulogoy of a liar named bede griffiths; and this business of eating jesus' flesh (ugh! cannibals) -- eventually the christists will tell the hindus they have eaten meat (beef?) and therefore they have become converts to christism.

* ahem, jesus is bull anyway, so jesus's flesh must be beef, no? (sorry for the terrible pun!)

I have eaten beef.
I have eaten pork.

With relish.
And without regret.

However, that has not made me a Muslim or a Christian.

I have heard tales that the Portuguese missionaries in olden times dropped bread in wells and then told the Hindus that drank from the well that they were Christians now. What's worse, I I have heard that the poor sods believed it and joined the flock.

If this really happened, I must say even sheep would have more brains. And if the other Hindus cast them out for this reason, there's no better way to manufacture enemies.

In the 1880, Gopalrao Joshi, a progressive thinker (who persuaded his wife Anandi to pursue higher education and become one of the first two Indian women to become a full fledged doctor), publicly converted to Christianity. The missionaries fell for it as he came from an orthodex Hindu Brahmin background. He accepted baptisma and the next day took a bath on the 'sangam' and announced his return to Hinduism. He had just demonstrated in his own way that one's religion does not change by so superficial a rite.

We need more of his mindset.

This seems to be part of a deeply thought out plan to convert. See the plan being worked in India: ‘Christians are serving mankind and not into conversion’ — Ronald Colaco [The "printable" version is http://mangalorean.com/printarticle.php?arttype=broadcast&newsid=147962]
By Ruby Moses, Chikmagalore
"Chikmagalore Sept 30: Ronald Colaco, State president of Federation of Karnataka Christian Associations was invited by the Shri “Rambapuri Jagathguru” of Panch Mutt to share his thoughts in one of the largest state religious conference on “Peoples’ Awareness & Human Religion” organized by Karnataka’s the biggest community (Lingayath) on September 27, 2009 at Chikmagalore. This was attended by a mammoth gathering of more than Ten Thousand people of all religions. ... "

It is very sad that certain self-appointed "gurus" are allowing themselves to be used as agents for promoting Christianity. One of them, who has proclaimed himself to be God, is said to have "materialized" a miniature crucifix, made from the same timber as that of the fictitious original crucifix, for the benefit of a Christian priest, allegedly a devotee.

Looking at the comments on the site, it is amazing that these christians are not very concerned about the litany of christian crimes in india. Rather they are worried about following their "book" to the last to prove its truth. Proves once again that Christianty is simply an artifice for aggression, a license to deculturate, genocide, and land and resource grab.

Even Chinua Achebe and Chinese Boxers complained of same exact behaviors from these missionary armies as we Hindus do today.
