Now Kaangress wants to import the Eelam problem, by granting blanket citizenship to refugees from the Eelam war in Sri Lanka next door.
I guess Chidambaram's still smarting from his bare squeaker re-election, which was only possible due to "recount".
Kaangress always tries to give themselves a bailout by mortgaging the country's future.

I dont like chidambaram either. I think he ought to be in jail. But I will support giving Indian citizenship to tamils from SL. I dont see anything wrong with that. The tamils in SL will live well among us here.
I had seen a report on NewsX, before the LS elections which highlighted the plight of SL Tamil Refugees DUMPED in Idukki,Kerala for the past 20 years.
-900 Families in all.
-They work as day laborers in nearby tea estates. Being refugees, they are exploited and no benefits as GOI norms are available to them.
-Sanitation in the camp and Medical Facilities are still a pipe dream.
-Nearest school is 20 Kms away, wherein children go walking bare foot.
Why does not this moron first regularize these people then talk about bringing in more.
