me on rediff on greater india

june 28th, 2006

hadn't noticed this was posted as some kind of slide show rather than a column.

serves me right to have sent them some photos of angkor wat.

which, by the way, is absolutely awesome.

Rajeev, I am amazed by the passion you bring into your articles. Also the journalistic courage with which you bring out to your columns calling spade a spade.

Keep up the great work.

ragz and vamsi, thanks!

well, go ahead and change the entry in wikipedia -- they still let people edit the inconsequential stuff, don't they?

ah vamsi, there is not much of a market for calling spades spades. everyone is into the emperor's new clothes, alas.

good one! as always shud I say..
for a change rajeev's article was not only colorful with words but with pictures too..hence that rediff confusion:-)
hey! we are a secular nation so NO to anything hinduistic and lets act sterner than Maculay in ignoring our glorious past;-)
hmm..when will we ever learn and change??

At last, people's power is pulling its weight.. The circulation of Indian Express and its Marathi Cousin Loksatta has gone down significantly in last couple of years. In Nagpur and Pune, it has gone down by 32% and 21% in two years or so.

I am waiting for some similar result about NDTV. I am certain that media houses and mediamen who suck up to the seculars will eventually be ignored by people. Do publicise this.

Hi iamfordemocracy,

Is the fall in subscription due to people ignoring spindian express or due to wider accessibility to net? Because even here in the US all major dailies are losing paper subscription to Internet. Just wondering
