The Modi-hating and Trump-hating Globalists are trying to promote Doom & Gloom in order to convince voters to reject those like Trump and Modi. The fact that these Globalists don't themselves offer any economic solutions is because they have none - instead they rely upon selective manipulation of facts to promote their narrative. Any positive economic reports are ignored by them, while any negative reports are played up. Modi's next national election is farther away, but there are plenty of state-level polls in the interim.
