Mani Shankar Aiyar's other act of indecency

Mani Shankar Aiyar's petty, undignified
statement during the election campaign  attempted to belittle Narendra Modi's humble background. The people have, hopefully taught him a lesson.

However, this uncouth Congressman committed a vulgar act of desecration during UPA 1 - by removing the small memorial to Swatantra Veer Vinayak Damodar  Savarkar at the Cellular jail in the Andaman Islands. Veer Savarkar was one of India's greatest revolutionary freedom fighters, the ideological progenitor of Hindutva and gave
35 years of his life to the nation - incarcerated by the British - in the
Andamans and later under house arrest in Konkan.

It was a small commemorative plaque
installed at the Cellular jail by the first NDA government - inaugurated by the then Petroleum minister, the late Shri. Ram Naik.

This act of Nehruvian Stalinist desecration was and will forever remain unforgivable.

Narendra Damodardas Modi, I'm sure you will have many pressing matters to address at this time and later in your 5 years in office. I invoke the name of Narendranath Dutta (Swami VivekAnanda) and Vinayak Damodar Savarkar - to make amends. The statue of Unity in Gujarat is a fitting tribute to Sardar Patel. There should be an honourable commemoration of Veer Savarkar's sacrifices - a
museum at the very least.

Allocating portfolios must be another pressing matter at this time. There are 335 odd MP's to choose from.

Why not create a Ministry or a department to detoxify the Nehruvian Stalinist naming scheme? The charter of the ministry would be to compile a comprehensive list of roads,
airports, stadia, hospitals, universities, government schemes etc. - currently named after members of the Nehru Dynasty - to be renamed after more worthy individuals and promote diversity.
