you mean the 'aryan' tourists actually reached as far as kerala, no doubt to enjoy the legendary charms of kerala women :-), and they were given tourist visas locally (or was it missionary visas)?

The Aryans did come to Kerala. They so converted the then Kerala society that 400 years later, Swami Vivekananda called the new society 'a lunatic asylum'.

Has the age of this "rock engraving" been established? Is it the only one discovered, or are there more?
Without positive and definitive answers to these questions, it is possible that this a:
"X B I L S T u m P S H I S. M. ARK"
a la Pickwick Papers (see Chapter IX "A DISCOVERY AND A CHASE").
