Nawaz Sharif and his PML-N are likely to end up with a full majority in parliament, thus enabling them to form a govt without coalition-wrangling with other major parties:

While the military's cat-among-the-pigeons Imran Khan may have made some gains, it wasn't enough to thwart Sharif's return to power. Apparently, the ISI's stooge imam Tahir-ul Qadri has fled back to Canada, so that leaves their quiver empty of arrows.

It remains to be seen whether Sharif will try to rein in the army, mindful of their previous humiliation of him. I wonder what's going to happen to Musharraf?
