BBC Reporter Alleges Assault by BJP Goons
A BBC reporter is alleging that he was assaulted by goondas sent by a local BJP politician whom he had criticized for shoddy management of his apartment complex. So is this all that BJPers do these days, in addition to suckering the rest of us into believing they're fighting for Hindus? Will real Hindu nationalists please stand up, and tell these thugs to p*ss off?

Doesn't matter whether it's a baseball bat or a cricket bat -- goondaism just to cover up corruption and incompetence doesn't help the cause of Hindus or India.
It seems that BJP's deficient political performance is due to the perception that it's just as corrupt as anybody else. The party is unable to distinguish itself in terms of moral credibility. They look like any other sleazeball, but just one which has learned to sing the national anthem on cue. Patriotism is important, and that's why it should never be misused for selfish reasons. The guy who falsely professes patriotism just to sucker others is worse than the guy who badmouths patriotism.
Congress badmouths patriotism directly, and meanwhile BJP touts patriotism, but only get perks for its own people. The patriot who eschews bribes or personal indulgences is more patriotic than the so-called patriot who knows how to sing "Vande Mataram" on cue, in between bouts of stuffing his face.
Sleazy politicians who join patriotic outfits are more likely to be doing so because they see patriotism as a convenient gimmick to shield their own personal ambitions and greed, rather than seeing patriotism as a basic moral and civic duty. When the Patriot team becomes just another team, under just another label, with the same old low standards, then patriotism is destroyed.

If, the BJP goons really did what this Bullshit broadcasecompany claims, this guy would not be complaining. They know BJP wallas do not give as bad as they get, so they are soft targets.
BJP deficiency is media management and hopefully they will go after English Language Mafia. Lets not forget this same sellouts keep doing japa of 'saint sonia' and claim MMS is an honorable man.
headline does not match the news story. it says that he had a fight with the management association of the building where he lives. that was the reason for the thrashing.
he got caught up in some personal fight and is abusing his position as a journalist. it has nothing to do with hindutva or bjp as alleged.

You're aspiring to an absolute standard and then you're equating all those who fail that standard, no matter by what margin.
The most evil element of all, i.e. Congress, always wants people to do that so that their treachery can be equated to an ordinary street crime.
