they had been ready with the mantra that the LeT (and all other terrorists including the ones in j&k) are just misguided boys whom a little tender loving care would fix.
now that the same cuddly terrorists are shooting at yanks, they are evil as heck. amazing what clarity your neck being on the line brings!
they just 'discovered' that the LeT are terrorists! much like they discovered late in the game that the erstwhile 'our man in the middle east' saddam hussein was not quite the doll they claimed he was.

Sadly nizhal makes an excellent point. Again, the bottom line is money. How do islamists get their money??? OIL from the saudis, donations from pakistanis in UK, USA, etc.
Lower the demand for fossil fuels and the money dries up. Also, shie a light on any pakistanis or other islamists who make room for terror and they will shrivel up.
