Here is a very cyncial story from flood affected areas of AP.

http://greatandhra.com/ganews/viewnews.php?id=16618&scat=16

The local leaders are said to be gripped with panic that they would lose their identity due to the overwhelming response the victims are getting from many corners. So just to prove their point, they are said to be insisting the donor-groups that they will take care of the distribution, and are looking at hiding the stocks so that they can be given during the coming election time to buy votes.

And those who have defied these leaders and are going with a noble intention of giving it to the victims, the leaders are said to be unleashing 15-20 men from their own camp amidst the groups and creating trouble so that the donors can give up and seek the help of these leaders. The leaders also involve those from the opposition camp. If there can be an example quoted of a dirty politician’s dog life then nothing would beat this one. It seems that the victims are cursing all the local leaders and are stating that all these leaders starve and die.
