Some Indian tech companies have even been offering their employees the chance to cryo-freeze and preserve stem cell material taken from placentas or even baby teeth, for future medical use. But now medical science is finding ways to make stem cells out of the regular bodily tissues anyway. So while placentas, etc may be "low-hanging fruit", we're learning to climb higher up the tree anyway.
