• MMRCA redux? It is obvious the IAF would prefer to add 110 more Rafales.. Having pocketed $12-bn for 36 of these, Dassault would be happy to sell the rest for another $20-$30-bn with TOT (transfer of technology). And well connected Reliance Defence is already chosen as its strategic partner. As with TOT provisions in past contracts, Rafale TOT will come with the advanced technologies as “black boxes” — which is not helpful.
