if it weren't so expensive, a segway would be good. at say $1,000, it would make sense.
alas, wont work in india because there are basically no sidewalks.

i recently read that someone has started using a fully solar-powered cruise boat in the kerala backwaters. silent, non-polluting. great idea: won't scare off the birds, won't emit any noxious fumes. down with petroleum! solar and electric ki jai!
